Chef Giovanni, where do we begin! Last night we celebrated our child’s birthday, from our first message asking questions to Chef right through to the end of service everything was above expectations. Chef is personal, flexible, creative and passionate. We simply can not say enough good things about this experience. He even brought candles to decorate the homemade cake he did for our daughter driving home the family dynamic. He let the kids get their hands dirty and help with prep as they love to help in the kitchen, he was engaging in conversation and became apart of our table in no time. It felt like we were saying goodbye to a friend last night as he left our stay. Aside from the service and amazing communication Gio had the food was impeccable, we appriactiated the local ingredients used as well as the information about the traditional foods we were eating. The kitchen was small but Chef flexed and shifted and made it look seamless. We will forever keep this experience close to us.

It was a special occasion for my husband's birthday. Dinner with fresh and top quality of the ingredients ( including vongolas alive and squirting), abundant food and thoughtful wine pairing... Giovanni also took care for the styling of the table, birthday cake and the picnic basket full of local, homemade delicacies for the next day. The atmosphere that Giovanni creates is relaxed, we were all able to participate in the cooking as much as we wanted, and it was pleasant to talk to him. We are grateful for this experience and that he was part of this beautiful day with us.

Giovanni is an exceptional chef with a passion for food and connection. He created a wonderful time for a family to connect and learn more about the region. Gnocchi was delicious and also a fun activity together. Loved being able to relax in our beautiful Airbnb and enjoy the time together. Definitely a must try while in the area.
